About ICC and the Project
ICC is an organization focused on helping children with disabilities in China. We did a complete website and branding redesign adding many features including donation forms, language switching, hover state interactions, and national office blog pages.
I was the sole designer and handled all client interaction and requirements gathering as well as the communication with our developers.

The Problem
ICC is a growing organization, and their previous website was no longer meeting their needs, it lacked donation opportunity and there was a pull for an information update with newly added programs.
How can we increase donation traction while also introducing new information regarding their family partners and young adults vocational training program as well as adding multiple customizable national office blog pages?
Process
Previous Design Review, needs assessment, brainstorm with client, competitive benchmarking, site map, wireframing, iteration, interaction design
Tools
Figma, Balsamiq
Duration
8 Months (October 2022-June 2023)

Information Architecture and Site Map
Developing the sitemap was a critical step in the research and planning phase. Given ICC’s multi-national structure, each National Office required its own dedicated section with a unique set of nested pages under a localized homepage.
This architectural planning was essential for defining the full scope of content, establishing hierarchy, and informing both the global and local navigation systems. It also served as a foundation for designing a scalable, user-friendly navigation experience that could accommodate varying regional needs without compromising overall usability.

Figma File: Raw and Real
As a designer, it’s always a little vulnerable to share the messier parts of the process — but given the scope of this project, I felt it was important to show just how many screens were designed. (This isn't even all of them)
To keep things authentic, it’s not polished from end to end, but it gives a real look into the scale and depth of the design effort.
